2 weeks ago was my first visit to Red Dot Brew House with the guys for some business talks.
These are their varieties of beer. The guys ordered the Red Dot Lime Wheat: Looking very much like the Weizen beer, this zesty pint is highly refreshing particularly on hot, humid days. Made with the infusion of freshly sliced Thai limes to add a distinctive zest. A tart, fizzy and an ideal thirst-quencher. I thought it tastes like Hoegaarden?
I saw lots of people drinking Monster Green Lager (Strikingly green coloured pilsner definitely stands out for sheer novelty value but the taste doesn’t let down as well what with its traditional subtle taste of hops. Brewed and lagered with European-manufactured spirulina to give it a unique colour and a whiff of fresh fragrance). But I thought it was gross? It was like drinking wheatgrass? *YUCKY*
Well, the whole night, I had a glass of wine and mutiples ice water (trying to imagine that it was white wine. O.o
The guys had Pork Belly steak (Mr J’s), Salmon Steak (Bro & Jason) and Alex had a steak. Guess what I had? -_-” A stupid Tonno Tartaro Salad, which has fresh tuna tossed with gerkin, caper, onions and homemade dressing. Well, it’s tasty. The tuna were raw. YUMMY!
Looking forward to another Red Dot Brew House gathering.
P/S: Pardon for no picture as my BB does not capture nice pictures in the dark. =X
Though his year's birthday celebration at Amber 21 wasn't as loud as last year's Dragonfly, but I still enjoyed myself.
Thank you to those who took time to come down, especially the wonderful dude *Picture of dude was taken down cos dude says he looks cock in that picture* for sending me home.
Anyway, I will let the pictures do all the talking……
Alright, I received a couple of gifts from the office people today! My "drinking" kaki in office, Tammy gave me something too! LOLx…. Feel so touched!
Anyway, I will be staying home tonight to recuperate from the yesterday fun we had over at Best Buddy's wedding. Can you imagine 6 bottles of wine and yet it was not finished? I find it a bit wasted so ended up helping out to finish the wine! When home, I was puking. LOLx…..
Anyway, I will blog these few days about the wedding. Bride says the pictures have to be photoshop. Duh….. As if she is as ugly as my ex best friend. Obviously not. She is the most beautiful bride I ever seen. Even Esther said that she is beautiful.
Sneak preview. This is what I wore yesterday. A black dress from French Connection. Bright red leggings from Top Shop. Black heels from Gripz. The necklace is from Topshop. Cool right? But it is kind of ex. $43 for that weird looking necklace. Oh yes, I bought a very great looking dress from Topshop. Geez….. Pleat Front Tea Dress Looks nice right?
Oh yes, back track. Back to the me in the wedding. Errr… That is me. The little bit drunk me….. Trying to be funny. Hahah… Anyway, my location at that time was Regent, very nice looking toilet.
We went Living Room after that. Yeah… I was asleep by 1.30am. Guess what? I was so tired till I went to toilet to have a nap! LOLx……
Merry Christmas and have a blessed 2008. I am off to bed. Tired! *Yawnz*
The usual me. When I was home yesterday noon. Esther and I, at the boring KTV pub at Boat Quay, started cam-whoring. Oh well, you will get used to it when you see us both together. LOLx…….
Our "daily" dosage. LOLx….. We don't really enjoy Tiger anyway! Bored bored bored. We just love to cam whore once in a while. LOLx… Cannot help it. After all, we are just girls! Me and Esther again. Guess we were way too bored yesterday at this pub, Chillz…..
I like this pic of me and myself. By the way, for your information, that finger isn't mine. It's Esther but the pose seemed to look just right lor. Hahaha…. Cute right?
Last but not, Esther and Keith (Met him once before at Boat Quay White Bar, many months ago when this fellow, Kenneth still existed in my world) & Esther & xxxx – We called him "Alvin the Chickmunk" cos he is kind of LAME and funny. LAME to me, in fact. He is just super LAME and I kept laughing AT him the whole night.
LOOK CAREFULLY! "THE DRINK OF BEAUTIFUL WOMEN" – Not all women are allowed to drink Martini.
The martini is a cocktail made with gin and dry white vermouth, although substituting vodka for gin is now common. It is often described as being "crisp" or "astringent". Over the years, the martini has become perhaps the most well-known mixed alcoholic beverage. H. L. Mencken once called the martini "the only American invention as perfect as the sonnet",and E. B. White called it "the elixir of quietude".It is also the proverbial drink of the one-time "three-martini lunch" of business executives, now largely abandoned as part of companies' "fitness for duty" programs.
The martini is one of six basic drinks listed in David A. Embury's classic The Fine Art of Mixing Drinks.

To be frank, I had yet tried the food cos after all, I was alone. I wasn't that hungry either. Had 2 pint of beer when the manager came over & started a small talk with me.
When I told him martini SUCKS, I was offered a green apple martini. Oh yes, that martini was on the house. It was way way too nice! The best martini I every had.
Ordered another martini. Rock melon martini. This is the rock melon martini, I was referring to.
YUM YUM!
It was seriously very nice cos I am for sure not a Martini fan.
Anyway, do give it a treat if you are nearby. They will be starting happy hour soon, which means nett price. No GST, no service charges and no cess. Currently, the martini cost $14.10. But after 15th this month, it will be nett price. Worth it so much!
