Posted in: "What time is it???", My day in day out life....

I AM BACK after going missing in action for 4 days. I was suffering from "refuse-to-blog" virus attack thus explain why I was missing these 4 days.

Guess age is catching up. I had been feeling exhaustive for the past week. Besides working, there was nothing in my mind except rest and sleep. Every night, by the time I reached home, it was like 8 plus or so. I was way to tired to do anything anymore.

Even now, I feel so tired. MY mind is blank in fact. *Yawnz*

Anyway, just a quick update before I hit the sack. (Kinda early though)

I spent my Friday night at Ice Cold Beer with TYP & "Mei Mei". Coincidentally, I saw Esther & Jerlyn there too. So they joined us for the night before heading to their "favourite" Thai disco. We continued to be at Ice Cold Beer till 3am & headed for home. We were too exhausted.

The amount of beer I had yesterday: 8 bottles of beer, 1 Hoegarrden, 2 half dozen of chicken wings (I had 2 full chicken wings in all) & some beer whatever nacho thingy? OMG! I had so many beer? From the time of like 7pm to 2am. I guess this is minimal. Maybe on 22nd March, I shall order 1 tower and share with TYP? LOLx……

Nothing much except work which I hope I can whine on blog BUT………….. I am too lazy to write!

Thank you to those who took time to come down, especially the wonderful dude *Picture of dude was taken down cos dude says he looks cock in that picture* for sending me home.

Anyway, I will let the pictures do all the talking……

Posted in: "What time is it???", Shop till you drop...

I was already at Orchard when it was 11am this morning! I met up with Darren aka Siyang (A Secondary School friend of mine) to go to that Buffalo brand boutique's moving out sales at Mandarin Hotel shopping gallery. If you are going to the sales, do not bother. The discount is like 20% or so. The wallets were thrown into the big "sales-lookalike" so-called "trolleys" & you will pick and choose from there. Hmm…. For that 20% discount, I personally don't think that it is worth. After all, it's like being touched by countless of human beings.

Next stop, Taka, to check out the actual price of the brief case we saw at the sales. As expected, it was directly 20% discount, which is around $80 difference. Still, I think it's too expensive, especially for that brand.

I went to Shu Uemura to get my eye brow pencil refill (The lead fell and I lost it. *sad*) and my eye lash glue (backup) Oh, the leggings (blue) is from Top Shop. I merely paid $9 after using the $10 gift card. Laughing

TOPSHOP was my killer! All thanks to the $10 gift voucher I had gotten on Kim's wedding. Haiz… Anyway, my BUYS It's on SALE! So I bought it! SGD79 when original price is at SGD179. Worth it! Don't you think so?  The chain is on sale. Topshop too. SGD19 I think. The black ring on left is from Dorothy Perkins, $6 after SGD 10 TopShop voucher discount. The right side ring was from MNG. I bought it on Kim's wedding. Sale item too. Just a SGD10. Cheap right?

We caught a movie, The Legend at The Cathay. Cathay is quite cool. In fact, it was the 1st time I watch a show there. Surprised

Daiso was our last 2nd stop.   My buys! The cold noodles was good. I cooked some just now for dinner. It's cheap too! SGD4 and it can cater up to about 4 or 5 person. My Maggi alternative. Laughing All thanks to Linda for her recommendation.

We ended up at Rouge Outdoor and had a quick drink.

FRUITFUL day though. Hee….

Merry Christmas to all my friends!

Alright, I received a couple of gifts from the office people today! My "drinking" kaki in office, Tammy gave me something too! LOLx…. Feel so touched!

Anyway, I will be staying home tonight to recuperate from the yesterday fun we had over at Best Buddy's wedding. Can you imagine 6 bottles of wine and yet it was not finished? I find it a bit wasted so ended up helping out to finish the wine! When home, I was puking. LOLx…..

Anyway, I will blog these few days about the wedding. Bride says the pictures have to be photoshop. Duh….. As if she is as ugly as my ex best friend. Obviously not. She is the most beautiful bride I ever seen. Even Esther said that she is beautiful.

Sneak preview. This is what I wore yesterday. A black dress from French Connection. Bright red leggings from Top Shop. Black heels from Gripz. The necklace is from Topshop. Cool right? But it is kind of ex. $43 for that weird looking necklace. Oh yes, I bought a very great looking dress from Topshop. Geez…..  Pleat Front Tea Dress   Looks nice right?

Oh yes, back track. Back to the me in the wedding.    Errr… That is me. The little bit drunk me….. Trying to be funny. Hahah… Anyway, my location at that time was Regent, very nice looking toilet.

We went Living Room after that. Yeah… I was asleep by 1.30am. Guess what? I was so tired till I went to toilet to have a nap! LOLx……

Merry Christmas and have a blessed 2008. I am off to bed. Tired! *Yawnz*

The usual me. When I was home yesterday noon. Esther and I, at the boring KTV pub at Boat Quay, started cam-whoring. Oh well, you will get used to it when you see us both together. LOLx…….

Our "daily" dosage. LOLx….. We don't really enjoy Tiger anyway! Bored bored bored. We just love to cam whore once in a while. LOLx… Cannot help it. After all, we are just girls! Me and Esther again. Guess we were way too bored yesterday at this pub, Chillz…..

I like this pic of me and myself.   By the way, for your information, that finger isn't mine. It's Esther but the pose seemed to look just right lor. Hahaha…. Cute right?

Last but not, Esther and Keith (Met him once before at Boat Quay White Bar, many months ago when this fellow, Kenneth still existed in my world) & Esther & xxxx - We called him "Alvin the Chickmunk" cos he is kind of LAME and funny. LAME to me, in fact. He is just super LAME and I kept laughing AT him the whole night.

Oh well, another "girls" night out. More to go!

BEAUTIFUL POSTER of MARTINI!

LOOK CAREFULLY! "THE DRINK OF BEAUTIFUL WOMEN" - Not all women are allowed to drink Martini. Sealed

The martini is a cocktail made with gin and dry white vermouth, although substituting vodka for gin is now common. It is often described as being "crisp" or "astringent". Over the years, the martini has become perhaps the most well-known mixed alcoholic beverage. H. L. Mencken once called the martini "the only American invention as perfect as the sonnet", and E. B. White called it "the elixir of quietude". It is also the proverbial drink of the one-time "three-martini lunch" of business executives, now largely abandoned as part of companies' "fitness for duty" programs.

The martini is one of six basic drinks listed in David A. Embury's classic The Fine Art of Mixing Drinks.

Receipt: Watermelon Martini

Cool, refreshing watermelon in a martini. Sweet perfection!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup watermelon juice (press watermelon through a sieve or cheesecloth)
  • 1/2 cup (4 oz) Vodka
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup (sugar)
  • juice of 1 lime
  • 3 tablespoons salt (optional)
  • 3 tablespoons sugar (optional)
  • ice
  • Watermelon slices, for garnish (optional)

PREPARATION:

Makes 2 servings.

Mix together the sugar and salt if using. Wet the rim of a chilled martini glass with a piece of watermelon. Dip the rim into the sugar and salt mixture. Repeat for other glass.

Place the watermelon juice, vodka, lime juice, and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker.

Top with ice. Shake well.

Pour contents through strainer into martini glasses.

Garnish with a wedge of watermelon if desired.

I LOVE MARTINI!
