Thanks to the haywired weather! The flu virus is back!
I just came back from "dating" my doc bf, David Hau. LOLx…. The queue to see him was BLOODLY HELL long & I had to wait like close to 2 hours just to consult him.
I was given 2 days MC but I am going back to work tomorrow since I am still new in the office. Have so much things to learn!
Anyway, THANKS to my dearest Kenn. He passed me the virus!

I need someone to massage later.
Guess I am getting old… HAIZ…..
Can the pain please go away? You had taken away my last night!

OMG! My rashes simply just refused to subside. Guess they miss my "boyfriend", Doctor David Hau. For the past 3 weeks, the rashes are like, "Hi there, I am bored, entertain me….". The itchiness SUCKS, big time! ![]()
We shall see what the fark rashes are.
A rash is a change in skin which affects its color, appearance, or texture. A rash may be localized to one part of the body, or affect all the skin. Rashes may cause the skin to change color, itch, become warm, bumpy, dry, cracked or blistered, swell and may be painful. The causes, and therefore treatments for, rashes vary widely. Diagnosis must take into account such things as the appearance of the rash, other symptoms, what the patient may have been exposed to, occupation, and occurrence in family members.
The presence of a rash may aid diagnosis of the patient's condition. Not only the appearance and sensation of the rash but also the distribution (which parts of the body are affected and where it arose and spread to) and evolution of the rash may be important as certain patterns of rashes and their associated signs and symptoms are diagnostic of certain diseases. For example, the rash in measles is an erythematous, maculopapular rash that begins a few days after the fever starts; it classically starts at the head and spreads downwards.
Common causes of rashes include:
- anxiety
- allergies, for example to foods, dyes, medicines, insect stings, metals such as zinc or nickel; such rashes are often called hives.
- skin contact with an irritant
- bacterial or viral infection, e.g., by the viruses that cause chickenpox, smallpox, cold sores and measles
- fungal infection, such as ringworm
- reaction to vaccination
- skin diseases such as eczema or acne
- exposure to sun (sunburn) or heat
- irritation such as caused by abrasives impregnated in clothing rubbing the skin. The cloth itself may be abrasive enough for some people
Uncommon causes:
- autoimmune disorders such as psoriasis
- lead poisoning
- pregnancy
For god sake, I am not pregnant. I am merely suffering from eczema.
The causes of a rash are extremely broad, which may make the evaluation of a rash extremely difficult. An accurate evaluation by a doctor may only be made in the context of a thorough history (What medication is the patient taking? What is the patient's occupation? Where has the patient been?) and complete physical examination.
Points to note in the examination include:
- the appearance: e.g., purpuric (typical of vasculitis and meningococcal septiaemia), fine and like sandpaper (typical of scarlet fever); umbilicated lesions are typical of molluscum contagiosum (and in the past, small pox); plaques with silver scales are typical of psoriasis.
- the distribution: e.g., the rash of scarlet fever becomes confluent and forms bright red lines in the skin creases of the neck, armpits and groins (Pastia's lines); the vesicles of chicken pox seem to follow the hollows of the body (they are more prominent along the depression of the spine on the back and in the hollows of both shoulder blades); very few rashes affect the palms of the hands and soles of the feet (secondary syphilis, rickettsia or spotted fevers,[1] guttate psoriasis, hand, foot and mouth disease, keratoderma blenorrhagica);
- symmetry: e.g., herpes zoster usually only affects one side of the body and does not cross the midline.
I NEED A JAB! BADLY!
Dear Mr Flu Virus,
Don't you feel bored after "hanging around" with me for the past 1 week? Duhz…………
I do feel bored with you "hanging around" me. & you have the freaking guts to "invite" your long distanced cousins, say, Ms Cough, Mrs Sore Throat etc… over! This is so damn ridiculous of you!
Can you guys stop "bugging" me? Please pack up and off you go! I seriously do not see the need of you being around. You have made my life miserable. I did not drink for days. Smoke less than 3 sticks a day. Aren't you guys happy?
Oh please, I beg you, GET OUT OF MY LIFE NOW!
Rgds
The damn sick Princess Winnilicious…..
ARGH……….
The flu SUCKS!
The fever SUCKS!
Everything SUCKS!
Grrrrrrrrr…………..
Can all of "you" just go far far away from me?
I so wanna visit Cafe Del Mar next week! Anyone wanna join me?
YEAH…. My fever finally went down after seeing Doctor David Hau.
In fact, he did not give me any fantastic medication. He gave me Anarax & Fedac (a flu medicine which I had been taking since yesterday). FYI, the amount of Panadol, or call it, Paracetamol in Pacofen is much higher than the amount of Paracetamol in Anarax.
GUESS I miss my doctor Hau too much that I need to go and see him. Duhz…………
At least my body temperature is the same as a normal earthling now. Thank god! Currently, the temp is 36.7 degrees as compared to earlier 37.5 or even 38.
As for the flu, it is still hanging around & WTF! I feel so much like sneezing now but unfortunately, I cannot force myself to sneeze.
I need tons of rest so that I can recover fast!
CONGRATULATIONS to me & myself!
I am so "lucky" to contract the weekend flu virus!
KNS!
Why didn't they allow me to strike 4D instead?
*pui*
My Doc David Hau informed him that they had yet known as to whether the virus will be a long or short one but nevertheless, I have to be on medication and rest more. I have to constantly eat the flu medication so that it will not come back. Otherwise, it will re-occur. OMG!

My nose HURTS after the friction caused by the STUPID tissue papers.
ARGH………….
Body aching + Fever (up & down) + REAL BAD flu + BAD sore throat = whinny Winnie
The nose keeps "running" & I simply just cannot STOP the "running" nose despite the medication I had took! After much rubbing, my nose hurts. The ROUGH tissue cause friction and the skin is peeling! WTH!
Can I use tampon instead? Struck 2 at the bloodly "running" nose!
*Pardon me for my language… I am feeling damn freaking SICK!*
WTF! I am so proned to flu bug!
I am feeling "flu-ish" now. Bad flu, bad sore throat, fever up & down and body aching like mad. I am quite sure that by tomorrow, my fever will shoot up higher.
