Ever since I had “ballooned” (before Cenosis’ challenge), I no longer buy clothes. Or rather, I had difficulty finding clothes that I liked and of course, of my size.

But now, I am afraid not. I found Sophisticate & especially, after Cenosis’ wonderful treatment, I can fit into Sophisticate’s clothes even better and with much confidence.

Tweed Scoopneck – Grey tweed

A classic reworked in an interesting British style fabric

Simple sheath dress with scoopneck front and back, and cap sleeves. Figure flattering bias cut hides all your flaws. Straight cut skirt. Interesting with different kinds of belts but still great on its own.

Polkadot Babydoll (1950s Vintage)

Sweetheart neckline with wide straps for a slimming effect. Square neckline with wide straps at back makes even your back look slim. Cute puffy skirt and polkadot print makes this dress one of Sophisticate’s bestsellers. Smocked back for a closer fit. Match with a cropped cardigan for a cold office on a dress down friday. Summer Stripes (A day in the park)

Overlapping sweetheart neckline with wide straps for a slimming effect. Waistband lends structure while the long flowy faux wrap-around skirt makes this dress fun and flirty. Mini smocking detail at back gives a closer fit. Wear with a creamy cropped cardigan for fridays at work or on it’s own on a weekend at the park. Match with espadrilles and a straw bag for a really cute look.

I’m simply impressed by this dress. I didn’t really take a 2nd look at this dress but upon trying it, I love it. Weekend dress!

The Chanel-inspirated suit.

Instead of spending S$129 on a similar jacket from Promad, I managed to get myself a full suit. What a great deal I had!!!!! You can even wear this suit separately. Formal or casual, your choice! I shall show you how to mix and match in my next few postings.

Sad to say, I miss out a few beautiful pieces which no longer have my sizes. =(

Victorian – Black (1970s Vintage – Princess Diana)

Elegant hourglass cut makes you look slim and tall. Slightly off-shouldered with ribbon detail at waist-band and tapered pencil skirt. Stitching detail at skirt hem. Wrinkle-free fabric requires no ironing. Back zip.

Twirl Style Dress

Looks elegant if I were to wear it. They even have a similar dress with is in blue instead of the twirl pattern. Well, it’s so popular that it had ran out of my size totally. How sad!
