717 Trading – Durian Mooncake

Chanced upon the mooncake road show at Jurong Point. The one and only mooncake durian stall around.

Personally, I heard of 717 Trading because our company’s annual durian party is held there.

About 717 Trading: 717 Trading started out from a small stall in a market in Ponggol in 1973, selling only a few baskets of durians and some other fruits a day. The variety of fruits might be limited but in order to ensure the best quality, the founder, Mr Goh Kwee Leng self-picked all of them. This built the reputation of 717 Trading. Since then, 717 Trading started to be involved with fruits trading. Their first fruit durian store was along Upper Serangoon Road. Mr Goh believed that, “Honesty is our main priority to customer. He would rather not sell the durians than to lose a customer’s trust”. The company has lived on this motto till today. 717 Trading then started to diversify its focus into durian pastries specializations. From a small production area at Highland Centre, to a food factory at Kampong Ampat, the company had moved on to resettling our factories in Changi Prison. With the new factory facilities, 717 Trading ensures that the qualities of our products are not compromised and they constantly improve the way they work to serve their customers better each time.

I bought a box of durian mooncakes in 9 and 2 durian pudding. Due to my diet, I don’t think it’s advisable to consume them. =( What a spoilt sport I am.

My dad has eaten them. He said, “It’s heavenly.”

Well, guess, it’s not a bad choice. =)

In preparing the mooncake festival, 717 Trading are holding road shows all over Singapore. Do check the durian mooncakes out.
