Friendship is almost the same feeling with love. It is a love without wings and so things are not very different when talking about friendship and egoism. Egoists never realize what the friendship is and so in most cases they never have real friends, but sometimes they are naive enough to believe that they do, but they are wrong in this believe and they soon will realize it.

See, friendship means that there are two people who always support each other and who help each other no matter what happens and they are ready to sacrifice their interests for the sake of their friends. And the same is true for people they consider friends. The friendship is the mutual understanding and care and help and so on and so forth.

Though, in case one always does his best for his friend and the other does nothing and gives nothing such a friendship will ever last for a long. Sooner or later a person will realize that it is not a true friend and he will be hurt with this fact and he will leave. And the egoist will be left all alone with its enormous love to himself.

People always leave the egoist and the day comes that they realize that it is better to stay away from this person and never let him or her to their lives. And this is the day when loneliness comes to egoist's life and stay there forever.
