The drama centers around a restaurant that is owned by four generation of women. The first generation Ngai Yu Fong was married to a good for nothing husband Wong Yuk Lun. The first story has a tragic ending in which Fong died with her long time lover Yu Chi. Before that, Fong was pregnant with Lun's daughter and had given birth. The second story centers around Fong's daughter Wong Zi Kuan. She was raised by her grandmother and Fong's maid. Later on, she fell in love with her teacher and they ran away to Tianjin. She too was pregnant at the end and gave birth to Zhan. Bak Wai Zhan is the daughter of Kuan. Unlike Fong, she died of old age. The third generation, Zhan married a man that likes to control her life. She soon get bored with him and decided to work in an advertising company only to be found out by her husband. This is also tragic too, they both died in the San Francisco, United States earthquake. The last one is a daughter of Zhan or Tay See Kar. She had a one night stand with a man and gave birth to a baby boy. The baby boy is supposed to break the curse that fell on the family. Zhan reopens the restaurant that her great-grandmother opened and became famous due to her cooking books. The final episode did not show whether See Kar married the baby's father.
Recommendation: 3.5/5. Worth watching. It shows how different generations women behaved. I realised I am really the so-called 21st century woman. Sigh…………
Coming to think of it, was it merely an excuse? With today's technology, he can simply download it from the net. Otherwise, I can forward all the 10 songs to him via MSN. Why would he suggest me burning a copy to him when I already told him that I am an IT bimbo?
I even offered to mail the disc to his office as it will reach him much faster. But he suggested to meet up next week since he has a wedding dinner to attend this weekend.
I AGREED.
Currently, I am in a dilemma. Kinda half hearted feeling. Unable to describe the feeling in words though. The feeling is so like "I wanna see him BUT I don't know how it will turn out to be"! Maybe I am just afraid. Afraid of getting hurt again!
Haiz….
Excited?
YES.
Nervous?
YES.
Weird?
YES.
Worried?
YES.
So tell me, was it merely an excuse to meet up? What will the outcome be? Will it be a wonderful catching up date?
Me feel nervous.
Me feel scared.
Me feel worried.
Me feel happy.
My mind is full of thoughts!
My heart is full of different feelings!
GOOD LUCK, WINNIE!
If he never appear, I would have keep the love deep inside my heart.
Whatever it is, my heart tells me that I want to see him badly.
I used to play this song when I was at KTV alone and I ended up crying. All thanks to you!
Once again, replay this song. The feeling is still the same: feel so much like crying. Don't ask why. I don't know either. I thought I should be smiling now & be happy?
To be frank, I joined Advertlets less than a month ago. In fact, my joining is due to my curiosity and sad to say, being an IT "bimbo", I seriously had no idea of what actually Advertlets is all about.
Now, being a few weeks old Advertlets baby, I more or less know what is it all about. In short, it is to bring about the advertisers and the bloggers to one similar platform and obtain a win win situation.
By signing up Adverlets, it, for sure, has its benefits. Let's now look at what the benefits are. For advertisers, they get to target at the right demographic for their advertisements as Advertlets profiles each blog individually. Not only that, they can demonstrate their relevance by utilizing new tools for communication.
As for we, bloggers, we, of cos, make money (to be exact, more money) from targeted advertisements to our blog readers. Not only that, we can also get to find out more about our own blog readers. What's more, we monetize what we love to do!
Isn't this a WIN WIN situation for both parties?
Besides this, there are lots of PROS. Want to find out more? Visit their website, www.advertlets.com. and obviously, join them.
