FINALLY, after much "resting", I am back in the party scene.
First of all, let me introduce you to THE PUMP ROOM.
The latest nightlife trailblazer to make waves in Singapore, The Pump Room is a unique non-smoking dining and entertainment venue occupying a prime spot in Clarke Quay – Singapore’s coveted F&B and lifestyle destination. Opened in early December 2006, this microbrewery and bistro is made up of three concepts that will appeal to anyone looking for a memorable drinking, dining and partying experience – a microbrewery, bistro and a bar with a live band and room to party. It has its own microbrewery & the beer is unpasteurised and unfiltered, and has no added chemicals or preservatives. This means you will enjoy the great taste of fresh, natural beer.
Different kinds of beer @ The Pump and I had The Pump Room Lager – Golden, crisp, clean and easy drinking. Hmmmmmm…. Taste not bad. As for food, I had the Fisherman’s Basket of battered prawns, scallops and crab cake on chips that caused me to suffer from rashes for the next 2 days. LOLx………..
Next is Kandi Bar. Nothing amazing. Just a chill out place with comfortable seats. The 1 for 1 SUCKS cos I cannot taste the volka at all! & I wasn't high. Which means, the alcohol contents in the Volka Orange SUCKS! LOLx…. But I did like the Tequllia which is flavoured. Apple, orange, pear etc……..
As usual, headed to MOS. Pure Room seemed quiet even though it was 12am. The much more happening place is still the R&B section which was full of M people! YUCKS!
The next place I am going for sure is Arena. A little description about Arena.
The Arena at Clarke Quay is Singapore's No.1 International Live Music Venue. Located in the booming Clarke Quay entertainment district at the heart of Singapore, The Arena has been packing in hordes of music-loving hedonists ever since it opened its doors back in May 2007.
Whether you get your kicks out of live rock, pop or jazz, or prefer to flex and grind the night away to pumping house, booming big beat or the latest electronica grooves, The Arena has it all under one very big roof. From Tuesday to Sunday, The Arena plays host to live bands from the UK, US, Australia and Asia, and is also home to some of Singapore's finest DJ talent.
Spread over a sprawling 10,000 sq. ft area and costing S$6 million to renovate, The Arena is clearly in a league of its own. Super-cool and luxurious with meticulous attention to detail throughout, and boasting the world's most technologically advanced lighting, sound and pyrotechnic equipment, The Arena has taken the concept of nightlife in Asia to a whole new level. And because of this, The Arena has rightfully earned its reputation as a world-class nightclubbing destination.
