2-door cars have below-par resale value here compared to the average sedan. Afterall, how many family would want 2-door car? If one really wants the utility of a sedan coupled with performance, then yes, Evo will be a good choice if they don't mind the insurance. We don't get the full specs (the highest version) here in Singapore anyway.

Alot of people turn to RX8 because it is classified under 4-door car. That simply means cheaper insurance, compared to Celica and Integra. Miss Loi is right, that 1.3L rotary is a fuel guzzler. Fuel consumption depends on our right foot too... hahahaha... I have the habit of *erm* ... ok let's not go on. LOL.

Miss Loi - My friend has no problem with the car. As to whether specialised workshops are needed to service the engine, I guess most cars nowadays need to go back to their own agent w/s to service esp the engine and the electronic gadgets.

Oh yes I've thought about the RX8 but the trade-offs are very poor fuel consumption and from what I heard, need to find specialized workshop to service its rotary engine.

But its curves are ... sexy!

ET- I do agree with you. But again, how realistic to drive a 2 door car in SG? How about getting an Evo?

Miss Loi - I prefer to be driven. LOLx... If wanna get, should get an RX8. Insurance and road tax cheaper.

I find the 3 cars a little beng-ish. Celica for young bengs, Integra for yuppie bengs and the Mark X for old bengs :)

For that kinda budget, I very much prefer convertibles like the MX-5, MR-S with their rear wheel drives. Just my opinion.

Erm... I think in the car enthusiast circuit, we try to avoid comparing Integra and Celica as much as possible. Integra was designed and built with performance in mind, whereas for Celica it was designed more for the coupe category.

Many people confused the two categories just because they look alike as 2-door cars but their basis of construction are very much different.
